Finding Bright Spots: Celebrating 20 Career Transitions & Salary Wins

The last few weeks have been challenging. Navigating a significant family loss while running my own business has forced me to strip away the noise and focus on what matters.

But even as I've been struggling through grief, there've been these incredible bright spots. Every time I get that email from a client saying, "I got the job!" the weight lifts a little bit. So this afternoon, I'm pausing for a second to look back at what the professionals in my 1:1 coaching, small-group cohorts, and alumni programs have accomplished over the past few months, and I want to take a moment to really celebrate them.

So far this year, I've helped 20 professionals navigate major career moves.

Seeing their success makes the hardest days of solopreneurship easier to handle, and it is SUCH an honor to play a part in helping them get to where they are: successful career transitions, more lucrative offers, finding their confidence in overcoming imposter syndrome.

Career transitions - especially pivoting from federal service - are notoriously overwhelming. My goal is always to help people get where they want to go faster, with less frustration, and while making more money. Here's what that has looked like in practice recently:

  • Real Negotiation Leverage: I helped clients navigate complex contract, startup, and corporate negotiations to secure what they were worth, including a recent win that turned an initial offer into a 5.5% base salary increase, a 10% annual bonus, and an additional sign-on bonus.

  • Landing Elite Roles: I helped my clients prepare for intense interview processes, landing senior roles at top-tier AI labs, major aerospace and defense firms, and prestigious consulting companies.

  • Navigating Internal Politics: At fast-moving tech companies, I helped professionals find their footing, reclaim their confidence, and protect their careers, whether that meant navigating working for a difficult manager or finding their voice during their first few weeks in a senior position.

  • Finding Clarity: I helped professionals facing multiple job offers or career ruts figure out their direction and confidently choose their next step.

To my recent clients, THANK YOU for trusting me with your careers, especially over these last few weeks. Your messages have meant more to me than you know. You did the hard work, and I am grateful to have been a part of your team.
